Information Security Business Analyst

Support Army Information Assurance Training and Compliance for a Key Knowledge Management Project

An experienced IT Business Analyst is needed to support Army Information Assurance (IA) Training Programs and ensure adherence to network security protocols within a high-impact Department of Defense (DoD) environment. This role requires expertise in information assurance, network security, and project management to support Army G4’s ongoing knowledge management initiatives. The position offers flexibility to work both in the National Capital Region (NCR) and New Cumberland, PA. May be come remote after working onsite a few months.

Role Overview:

• Manage and oversee Army IA Training Programs to ensure compliance with DoD standards and security protocols.
• Conduct investigations and reports on network security violations, ensuring thorough documentation and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain project charters, plans of action, and milestones to support IT and IA initiatives.
• Support user account management by regularly updating archival files and creating, modifying, or deleting user accounts as needed.
• Lead and guide team efforts to resolve information assurance issues, implement incident response programs, and deliver emergency security training for critical operations.
• Execute the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and implement SP800-53 controls for compliance.
• Work closely with stakeholders to communicate technical information clearly, even to non-technical audiences, while managing requirements documentation, user acceptance testing, and policy adherence.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3–5 years managing Army IA Training Programs and 5 years in RMF/SP800-53 compliance; 3 years of experience with network security investigations and information assurance team leadership.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in incident response execution, archival file management, and emergency security training support.
• Certifications: DoD 8570 Level III (CISSP), Agile certification(s), Power BI Data Analyst Associate, ITIL Foundation v.4.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Security Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance adjudicated by DCSA within the past 5 years.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 per year
