    Description

    Job Summary Information Security Compliance Analyst

    - Support statewide security and compliance initiatives for the Arizona Department of Revenue (AZDOR) IT Division.
    - Plan, implement, monitor, and enhance security controls to protect enterprise systems, networks, and data.
    - Ensure compliance with state and federal security requirements.
    - Conduct system and application security assessments.
    - Manage and track security findings, tickets, and compliance metrics.
    - Maintain a master task list for high and medium priority security work.
    - Collaborate with IT staff and leadership to improve security processes.
    - Identify and address access needs, security threats, and potential violations.
    - Develop and implement safeguards to protect digital data from unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.
    - Review and investigate security procedure violations and provide corrective guidance or training.
    - Conduct risk assessments, audits, and testing of security controls.
    - Analyze vulnerability and compliance scan results; prioritize remediation.
    - Escalate and report security risks to IT leadership and system owners.
    - Recommend updates to security policies, standards, and procedures.
    - Promote security awareness and best practices throughout the organization.
    - Perform additional related duties as assigned.
    - Requires strong collaboration, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
    - Must have a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years' relevant experience; MBA preferred.
    - Experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Tenable) and IT project management is a plus.
    - Local to Phoenix, AZ, with ability to attend on-site meetings as required; no travel needed.
