Title: Information Security Engineer
Position type: Full Time – Contract
Duration:18+Months
Location: Charlotte North Carolina (Hybrid-3 days onsite and 2 days Remote)
Information Security Engineer, You will:
- Design, develop, conduct, and evaluate cybersecurity exercises to test and enhance incident response capabilities.
- Provide strategic guidance on incident management protocols, tools, and resilience strategies.
- Partner with internal teams and industry boards/committees to share lessons learned and strengthen resilience.
- Lead complex initiatives with broad impact, identify strategic investments, and influence executive?level decision making.
- Develop and manage training curriculum, professional development programs, and performance metrics for cybersecurity personnel.
- Evaluate and improve processes, articulate risks/issues, and propose innovative solutions to address emerging threats.
The ideal candidate will have:- Information Security experience in disciplines such as monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, forensics, penetration testing, business continuity, or threat intelligence.
- Experience in Cyber Resilience experience.
- Experience in Incident Management Systems and Incident Response Tools.
- Experience in creating and leading assessment exercises.
- knowledge of threat analysis, risk assessment, and security frameworks/standards.
- Experience in SIEM products and managing complex security scenarios.
