The role executes on maintaining and improving both custom and commercial security tooling, participates in security projects, and supports ongoing operations for the Information Security function. _Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._ Rate: $75.00 to $85.00/hr. w2 JN -062026-107274 **Responsibilities:** + Serve as a security engineer and consultant on cloud projects. + Engineer and implement well-architected solutions aligned to software development best practices. + Advise Principal Engineers and Product Owners on product operations and evolution. + Design, test, and implement solutions at the Feature level. + Support operational information security responsibilities, including developing and maintaining standards, procedures, and guidelines. + Understand and apply virtualization and containerization technologies. + Participate in operation on-call rotation within normal working hours. **Experience Requirements:** + Agile methodologies. + Containerization. + DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD, and Terraform. + Public cloud security and architecture. + Information security engineering and operations. + Nice to have: container scanning. + Nice to have: experience with CSPM tools such as Prisma Cloud, AWS Config, or similar. **_Recruitment Transparency Notice_** **_Eliassen Group values transparency in our recruitment practices.
