Information Security Intern

The Information Security Intern will assist and support the Information Security department with various tasks to protect and secure the Bank's assets and customers. This person will join a team of information security personnel responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of company assets. This opportunity is highly engaging and will make meaningful impacts that strengthen the overall security of the organization.

The Information Security Intern will report to the Information Security Manager and perform various tasks in support of the Information Security function. This will include performing analysis and generating reports to protect and secure the Bank's assets and customers. The Information Security Intern will also assist the Information Security team with vendor management and employee security awareness training.

• Develop reports and reporting within the vulnerability management process
• Utilize Excel for aggregating and consolidating multiple sources and developing reports and insights
• Assist, design, and execute social engineering campaigns such as email phishing, phone phishing, and sms phishing
• Assist with user access reviews process
• May include designing and developing automation workflows
• Assist with audit requests
• QA daily log reports
• Review and update policies and procedures
• Design and enhance processes and procedures within information security processes
• Assist and support 3rd party risk management processes

Skills & Desired Major

• Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Verbal communication skills to collaborate, communicate, and advocate Information Security principles and awareness across the organization
• Excellent written skills to be able to document technical specs and system design
• General understanding of technology and information security concepts

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $19/Hour.
