Information System Security Officer (ISSO) III

Responsibilities: for the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) III include: Support Information System Security Managers (ISSMs) in executing cybersecurity compliance, RMF, and authorization activities Manage system security documentation including Security Plans, POA&Ms, eMASS records, and continuous monitoring requirements Coordinate security control assessments, vulnerability remediation efforts, and annual security reviews Analyze vulnerabilities, security events, and cybersecurity risks while providing recommendations to leadership Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, STIGs, NIST guidance, and security authorization requirements throughout the system lifecycle Required Qualifications for the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) III include: 8+ years of cybersecurity, security authorization, or RMF/A&A experience with at least 5+ years supporting RMF processes Experience with eMASS, VRAM, vulnerability management tools, security assessments, and continuous monitoring activities Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies, NIST standards, STIGs, risk analysis, and security compliance requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related STEM field Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required Current IAM Level II certification required (Security+, CISSP, CISM, CASP+, CAP, GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP, or equivalent) Qualifications: for the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) III include: 8+ years of cybersecurity, security authorization, or RMF/A&A experience with at least 5+ years supporting RMF processes Experience with eMASS, VRAM, vulnerability management tools, security assessments, and continuous monitoring activities Strong understanding of DoD cybersecurity policies, NIST standards, STIGs, risk analysis, and security compliance requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related STEM field Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required Current IAM Level II certification required (Security+, CISSP, CISM, CASP+, CAP, GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP, or equivalent) Compensation: for the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) III include: Salary Range: $155,000 - $165,000 depending on experience Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick Leave as required by law #LI-JB1
