Schedule: Hybrid, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm 

Pay Range: $42.85 per hour 

Job Description:  

Position Summary 

We are seeking a Systems Analyst / Cityworks Application Support Analyst to provide functional and technical support for Cityworks and related enterprise applications. This position will serve as a key liaison between business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to support application maintenance, enhancements, reporting, data analysis, testing, training, and system improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience with Cityworks administration, SQL reporting, and end-user support in a collaborative environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Provide primary application support for Cityworks and related systems used across multiple departments. 

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues while ensuring optimal system performance. 

• Develop and execute application testing plans, test cases, and system validation activities. 

• Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements for application enhancements and projects. 

• Participate in enterprise application projects by defining deliverables, tracking progress, and providing status updates. 

• Facilitate meetings with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams to identify and document requirements. 

• Create, modify, and maintain reports, forms, and dashboards using Crystal Reports and SQL queries. 

• Perform data extraction, analysis, and reporting from SQL databases to support user and public information requests. 

• Support application upgrades, enhancements, system conversions, and implementation activities. 

• Coordinate with departments, process owners, users, technical staff, vendors, and consultants to ensure successful project outcomes. 

• Develop, maintain, and deliver end-user training materials and conduct training sessions. 

• Document system processes, procedures, and application functionality. 

Required Qualifications 

• Experience supporting and administering Cityworks applications. 

• Experience with Crystal Reports development and modification. 

• Proficiency using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). 

• Experience writing SQL queries for data extraction, reporting, and data updates. 

• Experience as a Systems Analyst, Application Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise applications. 

• Experience troubleshooting application issues, coordinating enhancements, upgrades, and system implementations. 

• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills. 

• Experience conducting end-user training and creating training documentation. 

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience supporting local government, public sector, land management, permitting, or asset management systems. 

• Experience participating in application implementation or training rollouts. 

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and test plan development. 

• Experience working with cross-functional project teams and external consultants.
