ASRC Federal System Solutions, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking an Information Systems Architect (ISA) to support our Prime program at Blossom Point Tracking Facility in Welcome, MD for the Naval Research Lab.
The Information Systems Architect (ISA) designs, implements, and manages the organizations computer systems, networks, and software to align with business goals, ensuring security, scalability, and performance. The Blossom Point network is made up of Linux, Unix, Windows, Cisco and other proprietary systems that support BPTF's Satellite C2 mission and administrative activities.
The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of computer systems, network engineering, system administration, operating systems, and security best practices. They will have an ability to understand business objectives and translate them into effective architectural designs. Must have strong critical thinking skills and ability to troubleshoot and fix complex system issues than design solutions to address them in the future. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate technical plans and complex concepts to management, stakeholders, and technical teams. Must have the capacity to adapt quickly to changes in the IT landscape and integrate new solutions into existing systems.. Familiarity with DISA STIGS, NIST guidelines, DoD Accreditation and Common Criteria, and DISA recommended best practices is desirable.
