Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM)
Team Spectrum is looking for a technically strong and security-focused professional to lead the protection and compliance of classified information systems supporting critical operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ISSM who can combine cybersecurity expertise, systems knowledge, and mission support to safeguard complex secure networks and information environments. This position is contingent upon award to Team Spectrum.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Serves as the lead information systems security professional for advanced program automated information systems and classified LAN/WAN environments.

·         Plans, analyzes, designs, implements, secures, tests, and maintains classified information systems supporting sensitive operational requirements.

·         Interprets and applies national, DoD, Air Force, DCID, JAFAN, and MAJCOM guidance to protect special access and other classified information systems.

·         Certifies automated information systems for compliance with governing directives and coordinates required approvals with higher headquarters.

·         Conducts isolation and containment actions for information systems affected by improper configuration, misuse, tampering, or unauthorized access.

·         Advises security personnel and users on proper handling, storage, destruction, and protection of automated information system media.

·         Develops and delivers initial and recurring information assurance and information protection training while maintaining required training records.

·         Manages network security functions including account administration, password resets, access controls, firewall implementation, and privileged user restrictions.

·         Reports cybersecurity incidents involving viruses, tampering, and unauthorized entry and implements measures to protect information integrity and confidentiality.

·         Provides hands-on technical support, system integration assistance, configuration troubleshooting, lifecycle planning, and maintenance forecasting for secure IT assets.

Requirements

Required Experience:

·         Minimum of five (5) years of IT experience, with a CompTIA Security+ certification meeting DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II requirements;

·         Must achieve CISSP within six (6) months of assignment

·         Top Secret/SCI; SAP/SAP Network; NATO ACCM.
