Information Systems Security Manager

City of Tallahassee - Technology & Innovation Department

The City of Tallahassee is looking for an Information Systems Security Manager to lead the Security Team within our Technology & Innovation Department. In this role, youll partner with departments across the City to oversee the development and execution of a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security program.

Youll be at the center of how we protect and strengthen our technology environment - coordinating and performing security product research and analysis, planning and developing operating and project budgets, and developing project plans that keep our security initiatives moving forward. Youll perform IT security risk assessments, monitor security vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to ensure we stay ahead of the latest regulations and compliance requirements. Beyond the day-to-day, youll also help shape technology vision and direction for the enterprise, working alongside leadership to make sure security is built into the Citys broader technology strategy.

This is a role for someone who can balance the technical and the strategic - someone comfortable digging into risk assessments and vulnerability data one day, and talking budgets and enterprise direction the next. If youre ready to lead a team that keeps the City of Tallahassees information systems secure and resilient, wed love to hear from you.
