Position OverviewTAP Engineering is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to help deliver enhanced HPC capabilities across multi-vendor HPC servers, HPC clusters, and specialized processing environments. Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to senior ISSOs for implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
- Assist with preparation and maintenance of documentation
- Assist in the evaluation of security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information
- Assist with configuration management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware
- Maintain records on workstations, servers, routers, firewalls, intelligent hubs, network switches, and related systems, including system upgrades
- Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
- Develop and maintain documentation for certification and accreditation (C&A) in accordance with ODNI and DoD policies
- Develop system security policy and ensure compliance
- Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information
- Maintain operational security posture for an information system or program
- Provide support to the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) for maintaining the appropriate operational IA posture for a system, program, or enclave
- Develop and update the system security plan and other IA documentation
- Assist with the management of security aspects of the information system and perform day-to-day security operations of the system
- Administer the user identification and authentication mechanism of the Information System (IS)
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with appropriate polygraph
- U.S. citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 10 years of ISSO experience, or 14 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- IAT Level I baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M
CompensationThe anticipated salary range for this position is $140,000–$155,000, based on relevant experience, qualifications, and other applicable factors. The compensation range provided is a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Clearance RequirementThis position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with appropriate polygraph. Clearance processing and maintenance will be conducted in accordance with U.S. Government requirements.
