At CACI, we deliver trusted, innovative solutions that safeguard national security and advance critical missions. We are seeking an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to help protect, maintain, and strengthen the security posture of complex systems that support high‑priority intelligence programs.

In this role, you will be a key contributor to the security lifecycle—ensuring compliance, assessing system changes, developing documentation, and maintaining an effective operational security posture. Your expertise will help enable secure operations and empower mission success.

If you’re driven by purpose, thrive in dynamic environments, and want to make meaningful impact every day, CACI offers the platform to grow your career and contribute to something bigger.

Responsibilities:

  • Support senior ISSOs in implementing and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and best practices.

  • Assist in evaluating security solutions and ensuring compliance for systems processing classified information.

  • Support configuration management for system security software, hardware, and firmware.

  • Maintain and update security documentation, including C&A packages, system security plans, and audit materials.

  • Track and document system components such as servers, routers, firewalls, workstations, and network devices.

  • Maintain and monitor system security posture to meet evolving mission requirements.

  • Provide direct support to the ISSM for maintaining the operational IA posture of assigned systems.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance IA documentation in alignment with ODNI and DoD policies.

  • Administer user identification and authentication controls.

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing IT security programs and policies.

  • Manage system changes and assess associated security impacts.

  • Serve as the Approval Authority for information systems under your responsibility.

  • Identify, report, and help resolve system vulnerabilities to ensure continued mission readiness.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • An active NSA TS/SCI Polygraph.

  • 8 years of ISSO experience supporting programs of similar scope and complexity.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline. Four additional years of ISSO experience may substitute for a degree.
