Panasonic Energy Corporation of America (PECA) is looking for a hands-on Information Systems Technician who thrives on solving problems and helping people. From troubleshooting devices and setting up new users to supporting critical business systems, you’ll play an important role in keeping our technology and operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As an Information Systems Technician, you'll serve as a primary contact for PC-related issues, user access support, IT assets, and several enterprise systems. You'll help employees remain productive by providing responsive support and maintaining dependable technology and accurate equipment records

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day PC and IT support for onsite and remote employees
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues involving PCs, laptops, tablets, and smart devices
  • Install, configure, and maintain email, business applications, standalone systems, and other software
  • Set up computers for new users, including hardware upgrades, software installation, and system configuration
  • Configure Safeboot or BitLocker, ZPA, and server folder favorites for users
  • Manage TAC system requests and keep request statuses current
  • Support shared computers, including conference room, kiosk, and safety display PCs
  • Maintain accurate PC and printer inventory records
  • Manage loaner devices and training equipment, including iPhones and iPads
  • Track inactive computers and prepare disposal documentation for IT assets
  • Maintain logs and inventory for ink, toner, memory devices, CDs, DVDs, and related supplies
  • Order and install printer supplies and assist with printer upkeep
  • Perform weekly server room cleaning and organization
  • Support production applications, including WinSPC, InfinityQS, BarTender, and Easylabel
  • Assist onsite vendors, technicians, and contractors during service and installation work
  • Maintain IT documentation and follow established operational standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related area
  • One to two years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of PC hardware, Windows-based systems, Microsoft Office, and enterprise software
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Experience maintaining IT inventory, logs, and documentation
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, professional materials, and applicable regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to define problems, collect information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Preferred Experience

  • Experience providing IT support in a manufacturing or enterprise environment
  • Experience supporting production applications and business systems
  • Experience managing computers, printers, mobile devices, and other IT assets

Competitive Pay & Career-Building Experience

  • Earn up to $18.03/hour, with your starting rate based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

This position operates in both office and manufacturing environments. The role may involve:

  • Working near moving mechanical equipment
  • Potential exposure to chemicals and electrical hazards
  • Working in an environment where the noise level is generally moderate
  • Providing support throughout office, production, warehouse, and equipment areas as needed
  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, and reaching
  • Lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Working around moving machinery, electrical systems, noise, heat, and other industrial conditions
