Salary/Hourly Rate: $170,000
Position Overview: The Information Technology Director will provide strategic and operational leadership for all IT systems, infrastructure, and services. This role partners with business leaders to align technology initiatives with organizational goals, drive innovation, and ensure reliable day-to-day IT operations. The director will oversee IT staff, vendor relationships, and the management of both on-premises and cloud environments.
Responsibilities of the Information Technology Director:- Define and execute the organization's IT vision, strategy, and roadmap to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Oversee vendor management, including selection, contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and renewals aligned with security and budget requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and manage IT staff, including performance management and professional development.
- Manage IT department budget and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, including on-premises and cloud infrastructure, networks, and telecommunications.
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of networks, servers, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
- Monitor IT projects, resource utilization, and operational performance, reporting to executive leadership.
Required Experience/Skills for the Information Technology Director:- 10+ years of IT infrastructure and systems experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in Microsoft Autopilot and Intune for device provisioning, deployment, and mobile device management.
- Proficient in system engineering functions including Active Directory, Azure, VMware, Office 365, Group Policy, scripting, patching, and automation.
- Strong knowledge of IT security policies, network security, firewalls, access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Experience leading disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning and execution.
- Skilled in IT service delivery management, help desk operations, and escalation processes.
- Ability to manage user account administration, email systems, and access provisioning.
- Experience developing AI governance frameworks and using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude to enhance productivity and decision-making.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Information Technology Director:- Proven leadership in managing IT teams within complex organizations, including strong strategic IT planning.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and infrastructure optimization.
- Experience with AI integration and governance in enterprise settings.
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent technical experience.
