WHO WE ARE
The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) within the Department of Technology & Enterprise Business Solutions (TEBS) drives the delivery of strategic technology initiatives by applying defined project management methodologies, standardized governance, and continuous improvement aligned with organizational goals. The EPMO establishes enterprise-wide project management standards, provides governance oversight, manages project intake and prioritization, and supports the delivery of technology initiatives across County departments and agencies. This team plays a critical role in enabling successful enterprise technology modernization while strengthening project execution discipline and stakeholder accountability across the organization.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Department of Technology & Enterprise Business Solutions (TEBS) is recruiting for an Information Technology Project Manager (TEBS Professional Information Technology Project Manager), Grade N31, to support the Enterprise Project Management Office in delivering projects and workstreams, establishing governance, and enabling the successful execution of enterprise technology initiatives. This role will plan and execute technology projects and workstreams, serving as an operational and governance resource to the Chief Enterprise Project Officer and project managers across the portfolio, with a focus on governance framework administration, Smartsheet administration, template development, stakeholder training, and executive reporting.

Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business, communications, or a related field from an accredited college or university
EXPERIENCE:
EQUIVALENCY: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. For applicants possessing very hard-to-find skills that are a critical need to the department/agency, training and certification may be accepted in lieu of full degree requirements. Licenses, Registrations, Certifications, or Special Requirements: Certification in an industry-standard project management methodology is recommended.
PROBATIONARY PERIOD: Individuals appointed or promoted to non-bargaining unit positions in this class will be required to serve a probationary period of twelve (12) months if appointed and six (6) months if promoted, during which time performance will be carefully evaluated. Continuation in this class will be contingent upon successful completion of the probationary period.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL: This position requires completion of a pre-employment Medical History Form to assess your ability to safely perform the essential duties of the role.
Preferred Criteria, Interview Preferences

Experience with the Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, SharePoint, and Copilot
Experience working in a county government or public-sector IT environment
Exposure to enterprise technology initiatives such as ERP implementations, modernization efforts, or cloud migration projects

Leave Benefits
Our generous leave package starts with non-MLS permanent and term employees earning 15 days of sick leave and 15 days of annual leave in their first year, as well as up to three additional personal days each calendar year. Positions in MLS earn 35 days of paid time off each year. In addition, we offer all employees 10 paid holidays. Retirement Benefits
