ResponsibilitiesProvide instruction according to the college philosophy and objectives. In‑person teaching on campus is essential. Adhere to the approved course syllabus. Deliver syllabi to students within the first week, outlining objectives, methods of attainment, and evaluation methods. Use appropriate teaching methods to accommodate different educational backgrounds and learning styles. Allow students to assess their progress and master course objectives. Submit syllabi and addendums to the Division Office by the first week of class. Post and maintain office hours per institutional guidelines. Facilitate student evaluation of instruction. Participate in faculty orientation, professional development activities, and maintain professional growth. Support the community college mission. Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and three years of work‑related experience (excluding teaching).Teaching experience in the discipline.Experience or ability to teach at the community college level.Experience or ability to incorporate technology into the classroom.Working knowledge in Quality Assurance Fundamentals, Introduction to Structured Query Language, Quality Principles and Concepts, Test Planning, Design, and Execution, Test Automation Tools, Methods, and Scripting, Code Deployment Fundamentals, Data Analytics Fundamentals.NOTE: A transcript reflecting the required education must be submitted and reflect completed coursework and conferred degrees.
