The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Information Technology Senior Manager to join the team in Kent, WA.

This individual will lead and integrate all facets of Information Technology (IT) from infrastructure design and security to application development, information management, architecture, and process engineering. You will partner with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams to develop and execute strategic project and process plans, acquire and manage resources, and approve technical approaches that reduce risk and modernize our technology portfolio.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage and integrate employee activities across Information Technologies including infrastructure design and administration, application analysis and design, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysis

  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals

  • Acquire resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct report

  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manage and provide developmental opportunities for employees

  • Guide and lead team of dedicated Information Technology professionals

  • Coach and mentor team to further their skills, develop their talent, and ensure they are leading fulfilled and motivated careers

  • Lead projects to insert new technology to meet our program, compliance, and security needs

  • Lead asset management to provide cost-effective solutions right sized for the environment

  • Perform long range business planning, acquiring and deploying capital, and managing budgets

  • Provide consultation and support to our business leaders to meet their technological needs

  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policy improvements and changes, set operational goals for the groups, and acquire resources needed to continuously improve the work product

  • Reduce risk by managing the portfolio of technological solutions at the highest levels of modernization

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years

  • 5+ years of experience leading engineering or Information Technology (IT) teams across multiple functions

  • 5+ years of experience in using project management methodologies, including developing project plans, performance management, and managing issues and risks

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working within an Agile environment

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $172.550 - $223,450
