Overview
Provide Level 2/3 application support to Client’s customers and users of Oracle Cloud Applications and/or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). This role supports day-to-day operations, drives continuous improvement initiatives, manages production support activities, and ensures stability across Oracle enterprise platforms supporting Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Order Management, and Revenue Management processes.
Responsibilities
- Application Support & Maintenance
• Oversee day-to-day maintenance activities across Oracle applications and integrated enterprise platforms.
• Manage issue diagnosis, break/fix activities, incident resolution, problem management, and root-cause analysis for order management, procurement, inventory, billing, invoicing, revenue recognition, and financial processes.
• Lead a team responsible for configuration updates, testing, regression cycles, release management, and deployment support.
• Monitor application health, interface processing, scheduled jobs, and integrations to ensure operational stability and SLA compliance.
• Coordinate support activities across Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and platform upgrades.
- Business Process & Requirement Management
• Identify, document, and manage client business and functional requirements.
• Assess client needs and assist in developing functional specifications for enhancements, configurations, and process improvements.
• Drive operational efficiency through business process optimization and automation across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Revenue Management, and Customer-to-Cash processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to evaluate enhancement requests and prioritize production support activities.
- Delivery & Collaboration
• Collaborate closely with onshore and offshore delivery teams using Agile and ITIL-based support frameworks.
• Assist in reviewing functional specifications, test scripts, user stories, and operational documentation.
• Partner with technical teams to support integrations between Oracle applications and third-party platforms including CRM, payment gateways, tax engines, banking systems, middleware, and data warehouses.
• Support release planning, deployment validation, and post-production stabilization activities.
- Client Engagement & Leadership
• Lead client-facing meetings, daily operational reviews, incident management calls, governance meetings, and service review sessions.
• Facilitate workshops related to solution design, release planning, process improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Manage escalations, communicate service impacts, and provide executive-level status reporting.
• Contribute to transition planning, knowledge transfer activities, and managed services operational improvements.
Must Have
• Hands-on experience supporting Oracle Cloud Applications and/or Oracle E-Business Suite in at least two of the following areas:
~ Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM)
~ Projects
• Experience supporting Customer-to-Cash (C2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), or Record-to-Report (R2R) business processes.
• Strong understanding of Oracle/EBS application integrations and cross-functional process flows.
• Ability to lead client discussions, manage escalations, and govern operational SLAs and KPIs.
• Experience with ITIL-based incident, problem, change, and release management processes.
Key Skills (Include at Least 2 of the Following) EBS and Fusion
• General understanding of Oracle EBS/Fusion processes, preferred knowledge
~ Oracle AP
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting Oracle EBS and Fusion Cloud implementations and managed services engagements.
• Experience in transportation, SaaS, or subscription-based business environments.
• Working knowledge of Agile/SCRUM and ITIL service management methodologies.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Prior experience leading offshore/onshore support teams in a managed services environment.
