Job Title: Information Technology - Sr. Software Engineer.
Location: Washington, DC.
 
 
Purpose:

  • Responsible for design and development of Salesforce applications for FEP Local claim data processing systems in health care domain by understanding requirements, coding, testing, debugging applications.
  • The position makes sure the application develops properly with high quality products. Primary accountability for development work takes place during the life cycle for those projects, from planning to implementation.
  • Provides high quality products that are reviewed and approved by Client team and Bridge plans.
  • Provides technical oversight and supports IT project teams to deliver high quality FEP products for business needs.
Essential Functions:
  • 50% Salesforce Application development: Develops efficient and effective productions to deliver FEP business needs. Serve as Salesforce application developer for new development of Salesforce applications as well as enhancement of existing applications to FEP users and other application integrations. Communicates with other team members including developer/tester/business analyst to deliver product without gap and best performance. Main role of development code, review code, deployment of code to upper environments and maintenance of code. Support D2D request and debugging issue to resolve issues. Also publish technical documents and knowledge sharing with team.
  • 20% Design of system/ Analysis requirement implementation to new/existing systems: Understand requirements and current systems well so develop system properly based on requirement and resolution for fix of an issue/enhancement. Study and understanding new features and services from Salesforce and each Salesforce release so that FEP salesforce applications be implements better performance of process and services.
  • 20% Testing/Technical Support: Develop Unit testing code and support automation testing implementation for delivery of high quality of code. Perform troubleshooting and debugging an issue and analysis of issue and provide best resolution to teams. Supporting D2D as well as developments to different environments.
  • 10% Collaborate to drive business value: Work closely with other development team mem quality project managers and product managers to ensure applications to be developed properly with requirements and needs, also deliver it in time with high quality of products.
Qualifications

Education Level:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related IT field or equivalent work experience.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5 years’ experience in building, deploying and supporting Salesforce applications and platform solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce application development.
  • Experience with web programming including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Experience of custom solutions on Salesforce platform working with Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Flow, Visualforce, SOQL,
  • Strong Experience in REST APIs for external/internal systems integrations.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming design patterns and Salesforce data modeling best practices.
  • Experience developing reporting and dashboards in Salesforce.
  • Experience with JIRA or Agile platform for collaborating with multiple teams and source control system like Git/SVN.
  • Experience in multi-cloud architecture and AWS cloud development is a plus.
  • Experience in a call center setup within Salesforce is plus.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines like Copado and knowledgeable are plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to collaborate with team members and business stakeholders.
  • Understanding & knowledge of AI is a plus.
  • Agentforce 360 experience & knowledge is a plus.
  • Development using AI tools like Agentforce DX, Agentforce vibes are a plus.
  • Data 360 experience or knowledge is a plus.
  • Integration with other SAAS systems is a plus.
