Overview Position: Staffing - IT System AdministratorLocation: Austin, TXDuration: 6 months to start withBase pay range: $35.00/hr - $40.00/hrNote: This range is provided by TalentBurst, an Inc 5000 company. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Responsibilities Provide day-to-day technical support to local hands-on and remote employees for hardware, software, and networking issues on their laptops and mobile devices.Assist in the IT asset life cycle refresh process for new hires and existing employees including imaging, configuring, and migrating to new systems.Assist in various IT functions such as hardware and software installations and rolling out new systems to end users/groups.Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security.Manage logistical aspects of laptop and accessory distribution at our Austin, Texas office location including asset management, inventory management, shipping and receipt of hardware.Retiring and secure disposal of IT Assets as needed.Develop, document, implement and communicate standard operating procedures and instructional guidelines for IT teams and end users.Participate in new software or hardware testing, including detailed technical feedback.Qualifications & Skills Excellent written and spoken English.Fully proficient with the Windows and MacOS operating systems.Applicants must be familiar with the Microsoft Office Suite.Extensive experience with Excel and SharePoint a plus.Has working knowledge of the mobile wireless operating systems (iOS and Android).Thorough understanding of PC computer hardware and efficient troubleshooting techniques.Ability to maintain effective relationships with colleagues and internal customers.Ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel.Be able to conduct training programs designed to educate an organization's computer users about basic and specialized applications.Ability to multitask and transition quickly between multiple issues; high level of accountability and ability to lead initiatives from start to finish with minimal supervision.Seniority & Employment Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: ContractJob function: Information TechnologyIndustries: Staffing and RecruitingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at TalentBurst, an Inc 5000 company by 2x#J-18808-Ljbffr
