Job Description
GENERAL-PURPOSE: Under the supervision of the IT Director the primary responsibility of this position is to provide IT support to the City of Gallup its employees and its offices. The IT Technician will provide onsite and remote desktop support application support telecom support and network support. This includes maintaining repairing and maintaining computers devices and networks.

STARTING HOURLY PAY: $18.30 p/h MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent (GED) Three (3) years of experience in PC desktop support/repair network technology and information systems Valid driver's license. Must meet City's insurability requirements Other Conditions: Must pass a background check. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate"s degree in Computer Science Computer Information Systems Management Information Systems or a related discipline is desirable. Experience with Microsoft MCSE CISCO and CompTIA Network+ certifications or equivalent experience is desirable
