Summary:
Work Mode: Hybrid
Location: Multiple sites including 2001 The Embarcadero, Parnassus, Mission Bay, Laurel Heights, Oakland/Emeryville, Mt. Zion, Stanyan, Hyde, and other community partners
Shift times may vary; some evenings and weekends may be required
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot training issues and distinguish between build and training issues
Work with challenging and resistant end users
Identify system issues and document them for build analysts
Research issues that cross multiple applications and operational departments, such as billing workflows
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in healthcare information technology, computer science, or related area, or equivalent combination of experience and training
Epic certification in Cupid
Broad and/or in-depth knowledge of 1-2 areas of focus in clinical applications specialty areas
Strong problem-resolution skills with the ability to quickly diagnose problems and develop, test, and implement effective solutions
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively train, support, and collaborate with users of clinical information systems
Detail-oriented with proven organizational skills and the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information clearly
Strong analytical skills and knowledge in documentation and reporting
Ability to work with senior staff and managers, serving as a technical resource and providing advice on issues of functionality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, policy, and performance
Preferred Skills:
Ability to solve complex problems involving multiple applications and operational departments
Experience in researching and documenting system issues for further analysis
