Description

Summary:

  • Work Mode: Hybrid
  • Location: Multiple sites including 2001 The Embarcadero, Parnassus, Mission Bay, Laurel Heights, Oakland/Emeryville, Mt. Zion, Stanyan, Hyde, and other community partners
  • Shift times may vary; some evenings and weekends may be required

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot training issues and distinguish between build and training issues
  • Work with challenging and resistant end users
  • Identify system issues and document them for build analysts
  • Research issues that cross multiple applications and operational departments, such as billing workflows

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare information technology, computer science, or related area, or equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Epic certification in Cupid
  • Broad and/or in-depth knowledge of 1-2 areas of focus in clinical applications specialty areas
  • Strong problem-resolution skills with the ability to quickly diagnose problems and develop, test, and implement effective solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively train, support, and collaborate with users of clinical information systems
  • Detail-oriented with proven organizational skills and the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical information clearly
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge in documentation and reporting
  • Ability to work with senior staff and managers, serving as a technical resource and providing advice on issues of functionality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, policy, and performance

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to solve complex problems involving multiple applications and operational departments
  • Experience in researching and documenting system issues for further analysis
