Title: Encore Financial Disclosure Audit Tester
Location: New York, NY (Local Candidates Only)
Pay Rate: $70.00-85.00/hr on W2/C2C (All Inclusive)
Duration: 06+ Months with Possible Extension.
 

We are seeking a Financial Reporting Audit Tester to support an audit of the migration of external financial disclosures to the Encore platform. This transformation aims to replace spreadsheet-based and other end-user computing processes with a more standardized, controlled, and auditable reporting environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in financial reporting, external audit, internal audit, SOX, Controller testing, or disclosure controls.
• Knowledge of financial statements and external disclosures.
• Experience performing data lineage, reconciliation, report validation, or system migration testing.
• Advanced Excel skills, including large-data comparisons, variance analysis, and recalculation.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting completeness and accuracy assertions.
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with 10-K, 10-Q, SEC reporting, or financial statement footnote disclosures.
• Knowledge of derivatives, fair value, commitments, guarantees, repos, securities financing, or secured borrowings.
• Experience with Workiva, AxiomSL, OneStream, Hyperion, SAP, Oracle, or similar financial reporting platforms.
• Experience auditing an EUC remediation or reporting-platform migration.
• CPA, CA, CIA, or equivalent certification.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Understand the current-state and future-state external disclosure production processes.
• Review disclosure requirements, source systems, data flows, mapping rules, adjustments, and report-generation logic.
• Compare Encore outputs with legacy reports and investigate differences.
• Trace selected disclosed amounts from external reporting outputs through Encore and upstream data layers to source systems.
• Validate the completeness and accuracy of disclosure populations.
