We are seeking an experienced Java GCP Support Engineer to contribute to our Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications, specifically within the Inventory Planning & Replenishment domain.

Position Summary

As a Java GCP Support Engineer, you will provide production support, maintenance, monitoring, and minor enhancements for critical SCM applications. Collaborate closely with business users, product teams, and support organizations to ensure application stability and timely incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for Java and GCP-based SCM applications.
• Monitor application health, integrations, and batch processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents within SLA timelines.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
• Support deployments, releases, and environment validations.
• Develop minor enhancements and bug fixes.
• Participate in weekend on-call support rotations.
• Maintain operational documentation and support runbooks.

Required Skills

• 4 years of Java application support/development experience.
• Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices expertise.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Hands-on knowledge of Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Logging, and Monitoring tools.
• SQL and database troubleshooting skills.
• CI/CD, Git, and DevOps exposure.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, Replenishment, Retail, or Logistics domain experience.
• Exposure to JDE, SAP, or Oracle ERP systems.
• Experience in a 24x7 support environment and ITIL processes.

Primary Objective

Ensure high availability and operational stability of Java and GCP-based SCM applications, providing reliable support during EST business hours and weekend on-call coverage.
