Job Title: QA Lead – Workday

Location: Stamford, CT / Remote
Duration: 6+ Months
Rate: $55–$60/hr on W2/C2C (All inclusive)
Experience: 8+ years preferred

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on QA Lead with strong Workday testing experience to lead QA activities across Workday implementations and integrations. The candidate should be able to lead a QA team while also actively working on test planning, integration/interface testing, UAT, regression testing, and defect management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA activities for Workday projects.
• Perform Integration Testing, Interface/File Testing, SIT, UAT, and Regression Testing.
• Test Workday inbound/outbound integrations, interfaces, file transfers, and data validation.
• Create and maintain Test Strategy, Test Plans, RTM, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Test Summary Reports.
• Lead defect triage, track defects, and coordinate resolution with technical and functional teams.
• Manage and mentor QA team members and review testing deliverables.
• Coordinate with business, Workday functional, integration, and technical teams.
• Track testing progress and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Support release validation and production readiness.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong Workday testing experience.
• Workday HCM, Payroll, Financials and/or Integrations experience.
• Hands-on Workday Integration and Interface/File Testing.
• SIT, UAT, Regression and end-to-end testing.
• Test Strategy, Test Plan and RTM preparation.
• Defect and test management tools.
• QA Lead/team leadership experience.
• Strong stakeholder coordination and communication.
