Job Description:
Location: Technology Department - District Wide
Period of Employment: Full time - 12 month position
Reports to: Director of Technology
Salary: Salary is commensurate with experience-(Range $65,000-73,000)
Specific Qualifications:
- Maintain and troubleshoot district technology devices and software applications, ensuring reliable performance, successful deployment, and secure network access.
- Ability to work with Police and Fire department and prioritizing emergency issues.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues while supporting the maintenance, integration, monitoring, and automation of district software systems and services to ensure dependable operation.
- Provide mentorship and advanced technical support to Level 1 and Level 2 technicians, fostering skill development and promoting consistent support practices.
- Handle organization-wide windows-based application projects of complex to ensure applications optimal performance and related infrastructure.
- Review technology support trends across instructional and administrative systems and develop preventative strategies to improve reliability and reduce disruptions.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex technology issues affecting staff, students, and district systems, providing timely diagnosis and resolution.
- Recommends specifications, standards, and requirements for procurement to ensure optimum system and end-user performance.
- Support the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of instructional and administrative applications in production and test environments to ensure optimal system performance and user experience.
- Consult Network Administrator and System Administrator to assure technology is suitably deployed and used to deliver applications along with technology solutions.
- Other related duties as assigned by a Director of Technology.
