The Operations Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving the operational architecture that supports enterprise IT services. The role focuses on operational excellence, automation, service reliability, scalability, and governance while ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. The Operations Architect collaborates with engineering, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders to deliver highly available and resilient IT services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and define enterprise operations architecture aligned with business goals.
• Develop operational frameworks, governance models, and best practices.
• Lead IT Operations transformation initiatives, including automation and process optimization.
• Design solutions for Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Capacity, and Availability Management.
• Drive observability through monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and operational automation using scripting and DevOps tools.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Cloud Architects, Security teams, and Engineering teams.
• Ensure operational readiness for new applications and infrastructure deployments.
• Define SLAs, KPIs, OLAs, and operational metrics.
• Conduct architecture reviews and operational risk assessments.
• Support major incidents and drive root cause analysis (RCA).
• Recommend improvements to enhance performance, availability, scalability, and cost optimization.
• Mentor operations engineers and establish operational standards.

• AWS Solutions Architect / AWS Advanced Networking
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD)
• TOGAF (Preferred)
