The Infrastructure Admin II is responsible for the administration, security, and continuous improvement of Trew's IT infrastructure, including network, server, endpoint, and cloud systems, both on-premises and in Azure. Building on the Infrastructure Admin role, this position takes ownership of key systems and projects, leads technical workstreams with limited supervision, and serves as an escalation point for fellow Infrastructure Admins and the Service Desk team. This role is critical in ensuring Trew's systems are efficient, secure, resilient, and aligned with business goals across all locations and the remote workforce. Duties / Responsibilities: Report to the Infrastructure Manager, communicating status updates, incidents, risks, and project progress. Escalate critical issues to the Infrastructure Manager and Director of IT promptly and help coordinate the response. Serve as an escalation point for Infrastructure Admins and the Service Desk team on complex infrastructure issues. Deploy, maintain, and optimize Azure VMs and services; lead assigned workstreams in the migration of on-premises systems to Azure. Administer Hyper-V and VMware environments, including capacity planning and lifecycle management. Lead Meraki campus network deployment and ongoing administration across Trew locations, including switching, wireless, VLANs, and firewall rules. Administer Zscaler Client Connector, Internet Access, and Private Access configuration and policies. Administer Microsoft 365 products including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Manage Intune/Autopilot device management including enrollment, compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application packaging and deployment. Lead or contribute to acquisition integration workstreams including device migration, M365 tenant buildout, and application packaging for Intune. Monitor server backups, perform regular recovery tests, and help maintain disaster recovery documentation and processes. Take part in regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks. Track security compliance for production systems through patching, configuration control, and MDE policy enforcement, and drive vulnerability remediation. Proactively review cybersecurity policies, systems, and events in partnership with the security team and MDR provider. Monitor network and server assets and maintain an accurate and comprehensive enterprise asset inventory. Plan, document, and execute infrastructure changes following Trew's change management process. Maintain and update documentation for infrastructure processes, procedures, and configurations. Mentor Infrastructure Admins and co-op staff, sharing knowledge to strengthen team resilience and capacity. Participate in cybersecurity incident response drills and events. Required Skills / Abilities: Solid working knowledge of IT infrastructure including networking, endpoint management, server, and cloud systems. Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Azure, including virtual machines,networking, and storage. Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and Windows Autopilot. Experience administering Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint. Experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V, and VMware. Solid understanding of enterprise networking including switching, routing, wireless, VLANs, and firewall rules. Experience with Cisco Meraki, FortiGate, or similar enterprise networking platforms is preferred. Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools. Experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning and testing. Experience with ticketing systems and change management processes required. Strong knowledge of IT security best practices, endpoint protection tools, and vulnerability management. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead technical tasks with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft AZ-104, Microsoft MD-102, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+) are desirable. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relatedfield, or equivalent experience. 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or network administration. Proven experience in infrastructure planning, design, and implementation. Work Environment This is primarily a desk-based role, requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use. While the role is mainly desk-based, mobility within the office, manufacturing facility and customer sites may be required for meetings and interactions with colleagues. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
