100% Remote

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure & Security Manager to oversee the design, administration, and security of a cloud-first IT infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical role focused on AWS infrastructure, cloud security, and operational reliability. Approximately 80% of the role is infrastructure engineering and administration, with 20% dedicated to security, including vulnerability management, penetration testing coordination, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support AWS infrastructure and cloud services.
• Administer and optimize cloud environments, networking, storage, compute, and identity management.
• Support containerized and microservices-based applications.
• Implement and maintain serverless solutions using AWS Lambda.
• Perform infrastructure monitoring, patching, backup, disaster recovery, and asset management.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation efforts.
• Implement security controls, IAM policies, and cloud security best practices.
• Collaborate with development teams to support secure application deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain documentation, infrastructure standards, and operational procedures.

• Strong experience administering AWS environments, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, and Systems Manager.
• Experience supporting microservices architectures and cloud-native applications.
• Knowledge of infrastructure security, vulnerability management, and penetration testing.
• Experience with asset management, system lifecycle management, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and security best practices.

• Experience with AWS Organizations, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, WAF, or AWS Config.
• Experience with SIEM or endpoint security platforms.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust security principles.
• AWS and/or security certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Security Specialty, Security , CISSP, or similar).
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
