Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Architect to design and deliver an enterprise private cloud and infrastructure automation platform. The candidate will work closely with existing architects, infrastructure engineers, and platform developers to translate architectural strategies into detailed technical designs and scalable implementation solutions.

The role focuses on designing self-service infrastructure provisioning, Infrastructure as Code standards, ServiceNow integrations, API-driven automation, monitoring, and end-to-end infrastructure lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, and operationally sustainable.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate architecture strategies and business requirements into detailed technical designs and implementation guidelines.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to infrastructure engineers and platform automation developers.
• Design self-service infrastructure provisioning and consumption models for enterprise private cloud platforms.
• Define Infrastructure as Code architecture, reusable patterns, and standards using Terraform and Ansible.
• Design ServiceNow integrations involving Service Catalog, Flow Designer, CMDB, Change Management, and workflow automation.
• Define REST API, event-driven architecture, and integration patterns across infrastructure and enterprise platforms.
• Design automated provisioning and lifecycle management solutions for virtual machines and Kubernetes environments.
• Establish architecture for Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP), onboarding, and Day-0 through Day-N infrastructure operations.
• Define monitoring, observability, incident automation, and operational integration strategies.
• Design CMDB and DCIM integrations for infrastructure discovery, inventory synchronization, and asset registration.
• Establish Git/GitOps and CI/CD architectural standards for infrastructure automation delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex technical challenges and ensure alignment with architectural standards.
• Promote security, scalability, maintainability, reliability, and operational efficiency across platform solutions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Senior-level experience in infrastructure architecture, cloud architecture, platform engineering, or enterprise infrastructure design.
• Strong expertise in designing Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with ServiceNow architecture and integrations, including Service Catalog, Flow Designer, CMDB, and Change Management.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, API design, event-driven architecture, and enterprise systems integration.
• Experience designing Git-based workflows, GitOps practices, and CI/CD delivery models.
• Experience with virtual machine and Kubernetes infrastructure provisioning.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure lifecycle automation, orchestration, and configuration management.
• Experience integrating infrastructure platforms with monitoring and observability solutions.
• Proven ability to translate architecture into actionable technical designs and engineering direction.
• Strong technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Dynatrace or comparable enterprise monitoring and observability platforms.
• Experience designing CMDB and Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) integrations.
• Experience with Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) and automated infrastructure onboarding.
• Knowledge of OAuth, identity integrations, message queues, and event brokers.
• Experience designing self-service private cloud and enterprise infrastructure platforms.
• Experience with automated incident management, event processing, and operational remediation.
• Understanding of infrastructure security, access controls, and enterprise governance.
