Seeking a Confluent Kafka Automation Engineer with strong infrastructure automation expertise to design, develop, and support scalable Kafka platform deployments across public and private cloud environments. This role will focus on Terraform, Python, and Ansible-based automation for enterprise messaging infrastructure while supporting secure, high-availability deployments. The position partners closely with engineering, operations, and application teams to modernize automation capabilities, strengthen platform security, and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Design infrastructure automation solutions for deploying and managing Confluent Kafka environments across internal and external cloud platforms.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Terraform, Python, and Ansible.
  • Build and execute test automation for infrastructure and platform validation.
  • Collaborate with application development and support teams to understand messaging integration requirements.
  • Troubleshoot automation, deployment, and platform issues across distributed environments.
  • Analyze IT security standards, identify operational risks, and implement secure automation practices.
