THE WORK:

  • Youll purchase machinery, equipment, tools, parts, supplies or services necessary for the operation of an establishment.
  • You´ll be responsible for buying goods and services for use by their company or organization.
  • Youll review and potentially optimize suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability and other relevant factors.
  • Youll approve purchases of the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts.
  • Youll approve purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
  • Youll instruct staff on how to resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
  • Youll instruct staff on methods of negotiation, renegotiation and administration of contracts with suppliers, vendors and other representatives.
  • Youll confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.
  • Youll evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.

$85,000 - $125,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Ohio or Washington as set forth below.
