    THE WORK:

    • Youll serve as primary point of contact with unit representatives throughout the duration of the project.
    • Youll manage the work efforts of external organizations such as A/E firms, general contractors and construction managers.
    • Youll coordinate the work efforts of institutional organizations such as interior design, environmental graphic design, information technology, access control and environmental health safety and risk management to ensure that program objectives, institutional design and construction standards, regulatory requirements, the project schedule requirements, and the project budget are achieved.
    • Youll coordinate with and manage submissions to Mason's Office of University Building Official and the State Fire Marshall's Office to ensure regulatory compliance is achieved.
    • Youll direct activities of other facilities members of the project team (project engineer, project inspector/ construction field representative, etc.) and contracted consultants.
    • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities.
