Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Infrastructure Engineer to join our energy-related client's team in Atlanta, GA. This hybrid role requires a professional with expertise in data center architecture, cloud infrastructure, and network solutions. The Infrastructure Engineer will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise IT infrastructure while serving as a technical lead on key projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Network Solutions:
Collaborate with IT personnel to manage and implement enterprise network solutions.
Ensure infrastructure stability, scalability, and performance across the organization.
Technical Leadership:
Act as the technical lead for project teams by conducting research and analysis.
Provide recommendations and guidance to project managers and team members.
Requirements Analysis:
Partner with subject matter experts, Business Analysts, and IT staff to analyze, understand, and document system requirements.
Identify and address gaps in system design and functionality.
Project Collaboration:
Work closely with IT Project Managers (PMs) on release planning, task estimation, and timeline development.
Ensure projects align with organizational goals and meet defined deadlines.
Must-Haves:
5+ years of experience in Data Center Architecture.
3+ years of experience working with cloud infrastructure (e.g., Cisco, Azure).
3+ years of experience working with network infrastructure.
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong understanding of enterprise network and cloud-based architectures.
Hands-on experience with configuring and managing IT infrastructure in hybrid environments.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Certifications in Cisco (e.g., CCNP), Azure, or related technologies.
Experience in IT project management and Agile methodologies.
