Akkodis is seeking a Infrastructure Engineer for a Contract job with a client in New York, NY. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA) 3.x and Oracle Enterprise Linux, along with expertise supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
Rate Range: $82/hour to $86/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Infrastructure Engineer job responsibilities include:
Configure, deploy, and support Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA) 3.x environments in enterprise data centers.
Manage and maintain Oracle Enterprise Linux systems supporting PCA infrastructure.
Support infrastructure modernization initiatives, including PCA platform upgrades and migration activities.
Evaluate and implement new PCA platform features and functionality to improve performance and operational efficiency.
Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of critical infrastructure components.
Coordinate release cycles, patching activities, and environment validation to maintain platform stability.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2-5 years of experience supporting Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA) environments.
Strong expertise in Oracle Private Cloud Appliance (PCA) 3.x (must-have).
Strong experience with Oracle Enterprise Linux administration (must-have).
Hands-on experience with enterprise infrastructure deployment, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system administration skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools.
Knowledge of network engineering concepts and data center networking.
Experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure environments.
Familiarity with virtualization, enterprise storage, and cloud infrastructure architectures.

Pay Details: $82.00 to $86.00 per hour
