Infrastructure Engineer

Overview
The Infrastructure Engineer supports the performance, availability, and advancement of enterprise-wide technology infrastructure. This role is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining systems while ensuring compatibility, security, and optimal performance across the organization.
Working closely with technical teams and stakeholders, the engineer contributes to system architecture, capacity planning, enterprise technology initiatives, and the evaluation of new technologies. The role also supports system integration efforts and complex problem resolution across enterprise environments, including Microsoft technologies and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.

Core Responsibilities
• Plan, install, test, maintain, and support infrastructure systems throughout the organization.
• Assist projects with enterprise system requirements, testing strategies, and test plan development.
• Contribute to enterprise architecture planning and the development of technology policies and procedures.
• Develop and support system implementation guidelines with a focus on maintaining system security.
• Monitor system performance and perform complex troubleshooting and issue resolution across enterprise environments.
• Conduct impact analysis related to enterprise-wide technology changes and initiatives.
• Perform capacity monitoring using software and hardware monitoring tools and provide analysis and recommendations.
• Support enterprise-level system integration efforts to optimize software and hardware performance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Guide technology changes with a focus on achieving optimal business and technical outcomes.
• Configure and support Microsoft applications and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of related infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience with Azure.
• Knowledge of application architecture and the ability to perform responsibilities with a high degree of independence.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively and tailor messaging to different audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to meet or exceed organizational best practices, expectations, and standards.
• Experience identifying and mitigating risks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to guide others regarding team self-management.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job responsibilities.

Preferred Skills or Experience
• Capacity monitoring and capacity planning experience.

Work Details
• For remote or hybrid work arrangements, ability to maintain a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment.
