Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer 3 (WebSphere MQ Admin)
Location: Charlotte, NC / Minneapolis, MN / Chandler, AZ / Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 24+ Months
Consultant Type: W2 only (OPT not eligible)
 
 
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ Years of hands-on experience at scale on Middleware Messaging environments, including IBM MQ (aka WebSphere MQ), IBM Message Broker (ACE/IIB), KAFKA, and Solace
  • MQ Administration - performing activities, building, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting, deploying, configuring, patching and compliance.
  • Experience in configuring MQ Queue Managers and troubleshooting issues involving MQ Clusters.
  • Creating, configuring, and maintaining MQ Objects like Queue Managers, Queues, Channels, Listeners, Topics
  • zOS Mainframe experience is a plus.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including leadership.
  • Strong team or technical leadership experience.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • 12+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Good understanding of MQ monitoring tools like IR360 or IR350
