Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Infrastructure Management Specialist with a strong background in Windows Administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role requires a proactive approach to problem solving and a commitment to delivering high quality support to our internal teams.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Windows infrastructure.
Implement and manage security measures to protect the infrastructure from vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to support infrastructure related projects and initiatives.
Document processes, procedures, and configurations for infrastructure management.
Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation for infrastructure needs.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end users.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to infrastructure management.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong knowledge and hands on experience in Windows Administration.
Proficiency in managing Windows Server environments (2012, 2016, 2019).
Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS management.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper V).
Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent are a plus.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
