Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects primarily focused on technology infrastructure.
  • Technology infrastructure will include Network, Telephony, Desktop, primarily focused on facilities related efforts, such as retail stores or Wi-Fi upgrades.
  • Responsible for the oversight and tracking of all financial elements within the project.
  • Ensure that scope is maintained, and appropriate change control applied if scope changes.
  • Risk and issue management, as well as cross project dependency awareness and management.
  • Efficient escalation of risks/issues that have project impacts.
  • Work closely with external partners (vendors) on the planning and execution of project deliverables and timelines.
  • Communication of project status, roadblocks, and risks to appropriate stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of IT project planning and management experience
  • Firm understanding of project management principles (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, SDLC)
  • Prior experience delivering technology project, with a preference towards infrastructure
  • Knowledge and understanding specific to technology infrastructure and preferably facilities build/construction from a technology standpoint
  • Ability to quickly understand and engage on the project
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; Risk and Issue mitigation/resolution
  • PMP Certification preferred
