Infrastructure Solutions Architect - Lansing, MI

Duration: 3 months (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

Seeking for an Infrastructure Solutions Architect to provide architecture support for mission-critical applications related to public health and well-being. 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and integrate system data models and design to promote data sharing and eliminate redundancy.
  • Provide technical advice to Project Managers for project plan development.
  • Develop and enforce Data Classification policies and standards.
  • Create and maintain metadata repositories and system-level designs.
  • Define and enforce data standards to ensure data integrity and quality.
  • Develop an Information Architecture Model consistent with Enterprise Information Management.
  • Manage configuration standards, processes, and policies.
  • Ensure data integration with internal and external IT communities.
  • Evaluate and recommend software fixes for problem resolution.
  • Lead application environment consolidation, migration, or integration efforts.
  • Gather and track IT solution requirements and issues.
  • Provide data modeling and design guidance.
  • Recommend solutions based on feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
  • Revise and validate project management documents and technical designs.
  • Verify the architectural integrity of the application environment.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Over 8 years of RHEL experience.
  • Over 8 years of Windows Server experience.
  • Exposure to Application Architecture and familiarity with AppServer like Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss.
  • Experience in designing and architecting for both native and hybrid cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Preferred Skills:

  • Decent SQL and Oracle Knowledge.
  • Over 3 years of Network Administration experience.
  • Experience with architecture and diagramming tools like Visio, Lucidchart, and Draw.io.
  • Experience with IIS webserver, Apache, or WAF administration and architecture.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Ansible, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Veracode.
  • Exposure to IaaS, PaaS, SaaS deployments, and setup.
  • Knowledge of IaaC - Terraform, CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Container Orchestration like K8s or OpenShift.
  • Cloudflare experience.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree
