A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Infrastructure Technician

Position type: Fulltime - Contract role
Duration: 6 Months (Possibly extension or hire)
Location: Chandler, AZ

As an Infrastructure Technician, you will:

  • Install, terminate, and test fiber optic trunks and enclosures to support the new data center build.
  • Perform structured cabling work including fiber, copper, and other low-voltage systems.
  • Install and remove cabinets, racks,and pathway systems such as cable trays and ladder racks.
  • Conduct fiber testing using OTDR, power meters, and continuity checks to ensure system performance.
  • Document installation work and test results for project records.
  • Follow safety procedures and comply with cabling standards throughout the assignment

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Hands-on experience with fiber optic and structured cabling installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Skilled in using fiber testing tools (OTDR, visual fault locator, power meter).
  • Physical ability to lift/move equipment and work on ladders or elevated spaces.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • OSHA 10/30 safety certification.
  • BICSI Installer/Technician or FOA Fiber Optic certification.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: Between $25 - $28 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
