HVI-Comprehensive Cancer CenterPosition Overview:
Provides timely and accurate pharmaceutical care. Prepares, compounds, packages, labels, and dispenses medication, IV admixture and solutions according to Sutter Health policies, state/ federal regulations, and The Joint Commission standards. Assists with medicine and supplies inventory management and control, including maintaining adequate stock levels, checking accuracy of pricing, and completing required regulatory documentation. Adheres to all standards, procedures, cleaning protocols, and infection control polices to maintain a safe and sterile medication area, clean rooms, and laminar flow hoods. The primary location of this role will be the Alta Bates Summit Medical Center Herrick Campus in Berkeley, CA. Possible work site may occasionally include the Stanford Medicine Sutter Health Cancer Center in Oakland, CA.

Pay Range is $37.85 to $47.31 / hour
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
