GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Infusion Support Services Coordinator.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Position purpose

Provides support for Infusion leadership and the Infusion department by leading and coordinating administrative work, scheduling, and projects. Performs various administrative functions requiring in-depth knowledge of departmental programs, operations and services and infusion policies and procedures.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

  • Interacts and communicates with physicians, nurses, support staff, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate departmental operations
  • In charge of scheduling for infusion nurses
  • Time keeping data entry and verification for payroll
  • Maintains nurse employee records including compliance and licensing
  • Coordinates nurse scheduling with third party contractors
  • Communication with GIA infusion department personnel regarding various departmental needs.
  • Maintain and manage data and generate reports from applicable systems to support departmental efforts.
  • Manage administrative tasks for infusion department
  • Maintains current knowledge of applicable health care compliance and privacy requirements and company's compliance and privacy policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Infusion Support Services Coordinator

Qualifications

Education: High School/GED diploma required. Associates Degree from an accredited college preferred.

Experience: Minimum three (3) years of administrative experience required; healthcare industry preferred

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient technical (computer) skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Self-motivated with initiative.
  • Strong sense of ethics.
