Job Summary:

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Injection Mold Technician working on 3rd shift! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining plastic injection molding machines to produce high-quality parts efficiently. Your expertise will ensure smooth production processes, uphold safety standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

* Set up, operate and troubleshoot plastic injection molding machines to meet production specifications

* Ensure all machines are running at a standard rate, cavitation & cycle time

* Perform quality checks at predetermined times and record on all products being molded to ensure all parts produced are to the highest acceptable quality level.

* Monitor machines to ensure machines are operating properly and safely.

* Notify appropriate persons when there is a machine or tool malfunction

* Load and unload product bins or containers as necessary

* 5S and daily check list form on presses and surrounding area (clean presses and surrounding area daily)

* Complete daily molding log book (press report) and press board

* Perform diagnostics on production process and equipment problems determining necessary corrective actions.

* Provide training to shift personnel regarding standard operating procedures and process techniques.

* Teamwork - will be a member of a cross functional team.

Experience:

* High School Diploma/GED required

* 3 - 5 years of proven experience operating plastic injection molding machinery in a manufacturing environment.

* Operational knowledge of electric pallet jacks, overhead cranes, etc.

* Working knowledge of production flow and processes

* Adequate interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written)

* Injection molding technical education is preferred.

Pay: $28.50 to $39.80 DOE
