The Injection Molding Mold Maker is responsible for the fabrication, maintenance, repair, and modification of precision molds used in injection molding processes. This role requires high attention to detail, proficiency in mold tooling techniques, and experience with mold design prints. The Mold Maker will work closely with engineers, tool designers, and production teams to ensure molds meet quality and production standards.
Set up and operate a variety various tool and cutter grinders, surface grinders, manual grinder.
Shift schedule for this role: Monday - Friday; 7:00am to 3:30pm.
Is this job for you ?
High School degree or GED (Preferred)
5+ years Injection Molding/Plastic manufacturing experience. (required)
5+ years Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and CAD files.
5+ year Injection molding design and fabrication
4+ Strong knowledge of mold components, assembly and disassembly and Understanding of materials used in mold making (tool steel, aluminum, brass, etc.).

Benefits in joining us
Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $32.00 to $55.00 per hour,($66,560 to $114,400 annually) however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is up to 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $66,560 to $125,840. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
