Overview

East Penn Manufacturing, a world class leader in lead-acid battery manufacturing, is seeking experienced Injection Molding Set Up Operators for 3rd shift. Join our high-performing team where precision, safety, and innovation drive success.

Sets up, changes, and processes molds for injection molding machines.

Responsibilities

Sets up molds that weigh up to 17,000 lbs. using 7 1/2 or 10 ton hoist into injection molding machines in a safe manner.Starts up molds to meet all parts specifications including appearance from start up sheets.Does some repairs on molds as well as troubleshooting on the other machines.Cleans molds at each change and cleans assigned machines at the end of shift.Responsible for taking care of tools.Any lifting over 50 lbs. requires assistance.Maintains regular attendance.Ability to work mandatory over time.Performs other duties as requested by Management.Responsible for producing a high quality product.Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.Equal Opportunity Employer.*These tasks are considered essential elements of the job.
