Injection Molding Operations Technician

A day in your role: The floor hums as you start up your molding line. You confirm the production schedule, dial in machine parameters, and complete safety checks. As parts begin to drop, you watch cycle-to-cycle performance, verify quality, and keep accurate counts. When something drifts, you troubleshoot, make a careful adjustment, or pause to clean and maintain the press so the run stays on target. You collaborate with teammates to hit deadlines and keep the operation moving smoothly.

What you’ll handle

• Set up, operate, and continuously monitor molding machines to meet schedule and specification targets.
• Inspect parts for consistency and quality; identify defects and take corrective action.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance to ensure reliable operation.
• Follow all standard operating procedures, safety rules, and quality requirements.
• Accurately record production data; promptly report issues or irregularities to your supervisor.
• Work closely with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.
