The Injection Molding Operating Technician is responsible for preparation, mold set-up and removal, starting and running manufacturing equipment under the guidance of the Production Shift Leader. Accountabilities also include ensuring that jobs meet quality specifications, manufacturing standards and that safety procedures are followed while working to continuously improve quality and productivity of manufacturing operations and the ability to train others. Must be available to train on first shift for 3 - 6 months.

Work Environment Conditions:
Inside (other): Good Manufacturing Procedures/American Institute of Bakers certified manufacturing environment/FDA/HACCP
Equipment/Tools Used:
Injection molding equipment and robotic automation, computers, controls, measurement equipment, power tools, hand tools, pallet jacks, personal computer, Oracle, Infinity, EAM
Physical Requirements: Light work (lift 10 lbs): continuously – cases of product and hand tools
Medium Work (lift 11-30 lbs.) regularly – cases of product and pallets (3-4 times per shift). Heavy Work (lift 31-50 lbs.) occasionally – (one to two times per shift): cases of product and pallets Other Physical Requirements: Bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, twisting, standing for long periods of time Mental Requirements: Reading, writing, calculating, interpersonal skills, reasoning/analysis, works with minimal supervision
