Location: Lake Zurich, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $23–$29/hour (based on experience)

A well-established manufacturer with over 35 years of success is seeking an Injection Molding Technician to join its growing manufacturing team. This company designs and manufactures its products entirely in-house, offering employees the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative, clean, and technologically advanced production environment.
Unlike many manufacturers that outsource plastic components, this facility operates its own injection molding department, producing hundreds of unique parts in a high-mix, low-volume environment. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate injection molding machines
- Perform mold/tooling changeovers and machine startups
- Load raw plastic materials into machine hoppers
- Make process adjustments to maintain part quality
- Inspect molded components for defects including flash, warpage, discoloration, and short shots
- Perform basic dimensional inspections using measuring tools
- Monitor production and troubleshoot molding issues
- Regrind scrap plastic material for reuse
- Support and collaborate with junior operators as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of injection molding setup and operating experience
- Experience performing mold/tooling changeovers
- Comfortable balancing machine setups with production operation
- Ability to perform visual and dimensional quality inspections
- Team-oriented with a willingness to help others
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Krauss Maffei injection molding machines
- Basic PLC troubleshooting experience
- Experience working in a high-mix manufacturing environment
