*2nd and 3rd shift have a 15-20% shift differential*
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Injection Molding Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining plastics injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. Your expertise in machine operation, quality inspection, and troubleshooting will ensure efficient production processes while adhering to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative plastics manufacturing with a focus on precision and continuous improvement.
Install molds, set machine parameters (temperature, pressure, time), and connect auxiliary equipment.
Process Monitoring & Adjustment
Monitor runs, make real-time adjustments to maintain quality, and document changes.
Diagnose and resolve issues with machines, molds, materials, or processes to prevent defects.
Inspect parts for defects, ensuring they meet internal and external standards.
Perform preventive maintenance (cleaning, lubricating) and report needed repairs on molds and equipment.
Adhere to safety protocols (OSHA, Lockout/Tagout) and maintain a clean work area (5S).

2 Year Technical Degree or Enrolled in a technical class or equivalent related experience plus 2 years experience as a Manufacturing Technician.
Must have a strong electrical aptitude with the ability to work with vendors and suppliers.
Strong and appropriate influencing skills and flexible work ethic is important.
